We have had a restful day just hanging around, we took the bus into the centre of town.
Took in the sights, visited a couple of the many galleries and opal traders. (No, she didn't buy anything)
We had a bit of a drive around the town, stopped and had a look at the Underground Serbian Church. A remarkable feat of engineering, very impressive.
The vault is machine carved, but the detail work is hand carved, some people have way too much talent.
A view of the town from the central lookout, I don't think the lawn seed salesman has been overworked this season! Very dry and dusty.
Tomorrow we pack up and head north again. We plan to camp at the N.T. border, and the move on to Uluru from there. Not sure that we will have internet at the border, but will update the blog when I can
